All in a day’s work: Tuckwells Technician fixes Kramer and saves a cow.

James Wishman, a service technician based at Tuckwells Framfield, has been heralded a hero by the farmer, after saving a cow during his maintenance trip to the Siamax farm near Haywards Heath, Sussex.

James was working on a Kramer service when he spotted a cow attempting to calve but in distress, with only the calf’s legs out and its head back.  With the client taken ill, James had no choice but to jump into action and help out by calving the beast himself.  Following the successful delivery of a Jersey bull calf, he returned to his tools and finished the Kramer service.

Thanks to James’ quick thinking, both the cow and calf escaped a sad ending.  Allison from Siamax got in touch to convey her deep gratitude for this heroic act of service, leaving her with a working Kramer and a new calf.
