Description

John Deere Break-In Plus SAE 10W-30 Engine Oil is a genuine special-purpose lubricant developed specifically for new, rebuilt, and remanufactured John Deere diesel engines during their critical initial break-in period.

Its advanced formulation provides a controlled wear environment that allows piston rings and cylinder liners to seat correctly, helping achieve maximum engine performance, reduced oil consumption, and extended engine life. At the same time, it delivers the necessary protection for valve train components and gears against wear.

Unlike traditional break-in oils, Break-In Plus meets the requirements of modern Final Tier 4 (FT4) engines while remaining suitable for legacy John Deere diesel engines. It is recommended for use during the initial service interval, with a minimum break-in period of 100 operating hours under varying load conditions.
