Updated for the 2026 model year, the X117R now features LED headlights for improved visibility when mowing in low-light conditions. The John Deere X117R petrol ride-on mower is ideal for gardens up to 1 acre.

Powered by a 500cc, 14.5-horsepower, single-cylinder, air-cooled petrol engine, the X117R delivers reliable performance for smaller lawns.

The 36-inch rear discharge deck features two counter-rotating blade spindles, designed to lift and throw grass clippings up the centre chute and into the large 300-litre hopper. A spring-assisted, hand-operated height-of-cut lever provides 13 cutting height options, ranging from 1 to 3.5 inches.

The hydrostatic transmission offers infinite ground speeds—up to 5.2 mph forward and 3 mph in reverse. Twin Touch™ pedals ensure smooth operation and quick direction changes.

The X117R features a tight turning radius, making it highly manoeuvrable around trees, flower beds, and other obstacles. High-quality steering components keep the steering light and easy to control.

An optional front bumper is available for added protection and durability, particularly when operating around shrubs, posts, or other hardscape features.

The mower is backed by a 2-year standard domestic warranty, which can be extended to 3 years if serviced by an authorised John Deere dealership (T&Cs apply).
