The Chapman CFM Range of Tractor Mounted Flail Mowers are suitable for tractors up to 50hp and designed for cutting dense vegetation & overgrowth. Heavy duty construction and hydraulic side-shift feature as standard.

Belts and Flails
The CFM utilises 22/ 28 large heavy duty forged flail hammers that ensure great results on rushes, brambles and other hardy vegetation. Triple B Belts are utilised for maximum reliability and increased power transfer. A rear roller is included to prevent the mower from digging into the ground on undulating surface.

Rotor
Innovative rotor design incorporates a solid 45mm diameter drive shaft right through the centre of the rotor with a structural grade 115mm diameter outer tube, onto which the flail lugs are welded in a spiral pattern.
This unique design transfers cutting power more efficiently from the engine to the cutting heads, giving a cleaner cut and better performance in tough situations. Furthermore the rotor incorporates double row spherical roller bearings for ultimate reliability.

Frame
The CFM Compact Flail Mower features heavy duty all steel construction and a powder coated finish for long working life.
Suitable for both CAT 1 & CAT 2 hitches to meet your tractor requirements with a cutting height of 25-100mm – perfect for smallholders & estates.
